Cooking for Men: Ingredients
  • Half a pound of cooked chicken meat,
    or one or two skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • One pint of chicken stock, or one chicken stock cube
  • One tablespoon of Thai fish sauce, or one fish stock cube (optional)
  • One stick of lemongrass (fresh or preserved)
  • Two dried Kaffir Lime leaves
  • Three or four chopped spring onions
  • Two (or more!) red birdseye chillis
  • Five or six halved button mushrooms (optional)
  • One tablespoon dried coriander leaves
  • Two ounces creamed coconut
  • One teaspoon cornflour (optional)
