Guests were welcomed by the sound of bagpipes from our very own piper, who was also present to pipe in the ceremonial Haggis before a reading of Burns' "Address to a Haggis". Later, Tam o'Shanter himself put in an appearance, with an excerpt from that famous poem by Burns. Guests were also served loin of venison, game pie with blueberries and a trio of scottish desserts, and of course all washed down by a "wee dram" or two!
